Notes

This silver sculpture belongs to the menagerie of African wildlife sculpture for which Patrick Mavros has become known since founding his workshop in Harare in 1980. What began as a pair of earrings made for his wife grew into a family silversmithing business, still run from the same Zimbabwean studio and now overseen by his sons.
