the rectangular outset top with ogee frieze drawer below, the fall-front inset with leather writing surface enclosing an interior fitted with a central cupboard door flanked by open cubby holes and ten drawers, the lower half with a pair of short drawers and two long graduated drawers, on bun feet, with depository paper label 'J.G Webber & Sons, Depository, Maidenhead, No 1894', traces of a second label,restorations and repairs, 168,5cm high, 108,5cm wide, 52,5cm deep
