Notes
Derek Bauer was a great friend of Bruce and in this work, he humourously depicts the first meeting of Marylin Martin and Bruce Gordon at the Grahamstown Art Festival. Gordon would, of course, go on the grace the "walls" of the National Gallery under Martin's directorship. The inscription reads "cash drunk trader verbally abusing art establishment at 'Bodies' presentation".
