one depicting an elaborately decorated Indian elephant with a howdah, monkeys, maidens and a snake charmer in an architectural setting by a lake; one with a Chinese maiden crossing a bridge, a pagoda and an egret by a lake; and one with a Chinese lady observing a gentleman crossing a bridge before a pagoda, two signed, one dated 1923 and with the artist's owl device mark
