A Meissen figure group of Europa and The Bull, after the model by JJ Kändler, late 19th/early 20th century the scantily clad nymph modelled seated on the back of the disguised Jupiter, flanked by kneeling and seated attendant maidens, one offering Europa a flower taken from a basket, on an oval rocaille-moulded base, restorations, crossed swords in underglaze-blue, incised no 2697, impressed 140, 22cm high
