Notes
Konfyt forks tend to be more fanciful and have a great deal of charm. Also known as atjar or preserve forks, konfyt forks were made and sold as individual items, which gave silversmiths, particularly those born at the Cape, an opportunity to break away from the popular canteen patterns of the time.
