Jewel Box is Silverthorn's prestige cuvée, produced since 2009 and consistently recognised among South Africa's leading Cap Classiques.
This special lot brings together two exceptional vintages:
2017 Jewel Box - 70% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir. The Chardonnay component was barrel fermented and matured to build richness and complexity. The wine spent 55 months on the lees before disgorgement.
2019 Jewel Box - 85% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Noir. In this vintage, both components were barrel fermented and matured, with a higher proportion of Chardonnay to emphasise minerality and enhance longevity. The wine spent 47 months on the lees before disgorgement.
This exclusive lot offers a rare opportunity to experience two distinct expressions of Jewel Box side by side and discover the unique character and personality that each vintage reveals.
