This is a selection of our two best barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon from our Elevation 393 vineyard, located 393 metres above sea level on the slopes of the Helderberg. The addition of 15% Cinsaut from our bush vines at the top of the same vineyard allows the Cabernet to relax and express itself. High vine density, low yields and farming close to nature gives us intense wines with structure to age for decades and a unique charm.

Tasting Notes: The wine shows a bright dark red colour, with an intense nose of blackcurrant and red berries, lifted by spicy new oak notes. It also reveals subtle fruitcake and herbaceous fynbos character. The palate is youthful and structured, designed for long-term ageing, with a dusty texture and a long finish.

Ready for drinking now to 2040.
