VLOEKSKOOT Sauvignon Blanc is a true outlier. Sourced from Cape Agulhas and Hemel-en-Aarde, it is naturally fermented in concrete egg and neutral oak with a wild yeast strain unique to our cellar. Twice named South Africa’s Sauvignon Blanc of the Year, it has earned regular 95+ ratings from Tim Atkin MW and Platter’s. Jancis Robinson MW ranked it the top white wine in Hemel-en-Aarde, calling it “fresher than Pessac-Léognan” - a wine of tension, longevity and Cape identity.

Tasting Notes: Expressive notes of orchard fruit, citrus zest and mineral salt, reflecting its proximity to the ocean. Natural acidity and pristine fruit bring balance and depth to the palate, while also contributing to the wine’s impressive ageing potential. A benchmark Sauvignon Blanc, it combines freshness, purity and a strong sense of place. Patience will reward you richly.
