Wine of Origin: Polkadraai Hills
Winemaker: Lukas van Loggerenberg
This wine is grown on south-facing pure granitic soils on the Polkadraai Hills, with strong maritime growing conditions which ensure each vintage produces a wine with great precision, focus and energy. The wine is 100% whole-bunch fermented and aged in 50% new Mittelberger oak and 50% concrete for 11 months.
Tasting Notes: The wine shows haunting notes of perfume with violets and black fruit on the nose, with a hint of pink peppercorns at the back. The palate has a dense dark fruit expression, with finesse and elegance.
Ready for drinking from 2028 onwards.
