About this Item

Mis à Nu 2022
12 (2 x 6) 750ml
100% Cabernet Sauvignon

Wine of Origin: Jonkershoek Valley, Stellenbosch
Winemaker: Warren Ellis

Mis à Nu - French for ‘laid bare’ - is an unoaked Cabernet Sauvignon from the Jonkershoek Valley. Inspired by the legendary George Spies Cabernets of the 1960s, the wine remains untamed. Without oak to tame or shape it, it offers a pure expression of Jonkershoek Cabernet Sauvignon - one of South Africa’s finest Cabernet terroirs.

Tasting Notes: The wine displays aromas of dark cherry, cassis and violets. The palate is dense and complex, with layers of dark berries and fine-grained tannins leading to a long finish. Untamed and unapologetic, it offers a pure and unadorned expression of Jonkershoek Cabernet.

Ready to drink now until 2036.
