After a decade of farming this vineyard, this marks the first vintage deemed worthy of being bottled as a standalone expression. Situated on an east-facing slope, the site is characterised by deep granite soils underpinned by clay-rich subsoils, lending both structure and a distinctive sense of place to the wine.

Tasting Notes: Grenache Blanc is a grape variety that possesses, inherent in its make-up, the ability to immerse and assimilate its terroir - in this case the terroir of Kalmoesfontein farm, Akkerbos vineyard, Swartland. Expressed humbly and unobstructed by human hands. It’s pure and transparent. Not opulent and exotic. It’s the flavour and texture of a place farmed with respect and sensitivity.

Ready for drinking in 5 to 20 years.
