Strauss & Co, in collaboration with Everard Read, is delighted to present a special collection featuring seven exceptional lots by Velaphi (George) Mzimba, Blessing Ngobeni, Caryn Scrimgeour, Helmut Starke, Dylan Lewis, Vivien van der Merwe and Paul Sekete, with all proceeds directly supporting the Dassenberg Horse and Dog Rescue Centre's monumental move to Touchwood Farm. For 26 years, this admirable organisation has restored dignity and health to hundreds of abused and abandoned horses and dogs across Atlantis and Malmesbury, while championing youth support and community education. By bidding generously on these works, you will help fund essential infrastructure, safe animal transport, and expanded outreach at their new home, creating a lasting sanctuary that transforms the lives of vulnerable animals and children.
