Olerasay No.4 NV

The Olerasay is a solera-styled, Swartland straw wine, made from Chenin Blanc and spans the 2008 to 2023 vintages. Each vintage, since 2008, they have held back a barrel or two of the Straw Wine and blended them together, refreshing the solera each year with the new vintages. Bottled in January 2024 with a production of 4,472 bottles.

"The NV Olerasay 4 presents a slightly burnished amber hue. The bouquet is very concentrated, displaying scents of lanolin, marmalade, candle wax and just a slight nuttiness. The palate is beautifully balanced with a viscous texture and flavours of tangy marmalade intermixed with apricot, mango, a touch of ginger and quince.
