Notes

The relief birds in flight in a cloudy, frosted finish is very typical of Bohemian Deco revival glass, often exported to Western Europe; hence the moulded 'TCHECOSLOVAQUIE' which is the French spelling.

These vases were created as affordable Continental alternatives to the opalescent glass of Lalique and Etling, sharing the Art Deco aesthetic but produced in heavier, satin-frosted rather than opalescent glass.
