These bottles showed pristine presentation - high ullage levels, unharmed labels, and no issues with the corks, the bottles were retained in their original state. Bottles opened and tasted for recorking were in very good condition.

'This was the first Bordeaux blend at Rustenberg, a gold superior labelled red from a great Stellenbosch vintage. A hint of mint, with attractive deep mulberry and pencil shavings and chocolate. Pure, medium-bodied with sweet yet morish finish. There is a towering structure and lacy tannins. Not unlike Pauillac. Drink over the next decade or two.' - Roland Peens 94/100, (July 2025)
