The Mentors Perold 2019 is a multi-regional, ultra-premium Cape Blend paying tribute to Prof. A Perold. A blend of 39% Pinotage, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Shiraz, and 13% Petite Sirah, the wine is structured, concentrated and finesse-driven, characterised by purity and latent power. Exuding aromas of plum, sour cherry and black pepper, it is a product of time and patience with 30 months in oak resulting in juicy tannins and a velvety, lingering mouthfeel. Only 200 magnums were produced.
