Wine of Origin: Hemel-en-Aarde Valley
Winemaker: Hannes Storm
Grown on low-yielding Bokkeveld shale soils, cooled by the maritime influence of the Atlantic Ocean. A unique single vineyard expression, a true reflection of terroir crafted with minimal intervention. Matured in carefully selected French oak barrels, honouring the characteristics of the wine’s terroir. Produced in exceptionally low volumes, highlighting the wine’s uniqueness and quality traits.
Tasting Notes: An aromatic bouquet of floral perfumes complemented by subtle spicy wood undertones. The palate reveals fine-grained, silky tannins and impressive length, culminating in a long, lingering finish.
Ready for drinking in 3 to 10 years.
