Sourced from a single vineyard, farmed on organic principles, this Chardonnay is vinified using a hyper-oxidative ('black') processing regime. Fermentation proceeds spontaneously in barrel. No malolactic fermentation or bâtonnage is employed, preserving linearity, high-toned acidity, and site-driven precision. The result is a taut, mineral wine with finely etched structure and longevity.

Tasting Notes: A refined expression of Ataraxia's own terroir - our "dirt" - this poised yet assertive wine is defined by an extraordinary balance of fruit and minerality. A wine of sublime purity and precision.

Ready for drinking now until at least 2035.
