Notes

The set comes in the original box, accompanied by a signed certificate; The Tichborne Celebrities, The original set of twelve spoons designed in 1592 by Christopher Wace was presented to Sir Robert Tichborne in 1656 and destined to carry his family name.

Comprising the Nine Worthies of medieval folklore - Three Jews: Joshua, King David and Judas Maccabeus - Three Pagans: Julius Caesar, Hector of Troy and Alexander the the Great - Three Christians: King Arthur, Guy of Warwick and Charlemagne, with Christ, St. Peter and Queen Elizabeth I completing the only set of their kind known to exist. The Tichborne Celebrities re-created for the first time ever in this edition limited to 5000 sets world wide in sterling silver.
