Critics Ratings

'Dark and inky with black core. Gorgeous aroma that is smoky and full of savoury dark fruit, almost charry like roasted potato skins. There is a hint of stems but very slight because the fruit is so dark and intense. Dark and creamy textured on the palate. Pure ripe peppery Syrah. Thick, deep-pile rounded tannins.' - Julia Harding MW, JancisRobinson.com, 17/20 (Jun 2017)

'Brilliant violet. Perfumed dark berry, violet and olive aromas are complemented by licorice and smoky mineral flourishes. Sweet and seamless on the palate, offering pliant black raspberry and cherry flavors and a suave violet nuance. Silky tannins build steadily on a very long, penetrating finish that strongly echoes the floral and mineral notes.' - Josh Raynolds, Vinous, 92/100 (Apr 2018)

'Clean, plummy and vibrant, the 2015 Crozes Hermitage is medium-bodied and crisp, with bright fruit flavors, touches of pomegranate, and a fine, velvety mouthfeel. It should drink well for at least a decade.' - Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, 92/100 (Dec 2017)
