Critics Ratings
'Mid straw colour. Dry pungent nose. Mouth-filling and pretty confident without too much make-up. Lots of structure here for the long term. A solid effort without its being ethereal. A good mouthful of flowers and herbs that is already ready to enjoy. Long and confident.' - Jancis Robinson MW, JancisRobinson.com, 16.5/20 (Sep 2015)
'The 2013 Aristargos is a blend of 28% Chenin Blanc, 28% Viognier, 17% Roussanne and 17% Clairette Blanche from Paarderberg and with respect to the Chenin, from Riebeeksrivier from a total of seven vineyards. It has a perfumed nose of lanolin, honeysuckle and jasmine that contains great vigor and definition. The palate is smooth and harmonious with white peach, nectarine, sage and fennel notes, with fine weight and persistence on the finish. Excellent. Just six barrels to go round.' - Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, 92/100 (Oct 2014)
