A George I giltwood marble-topped console table, 18th century
with later moulded grey-veined marble top above a frieze carved with egg-and-dart borders highlighted with acanthus-leaf patera, raised on fluted and stop-fluted legs headed by a band of stiff-leaf decoration and united by an X-shaped stretcher centred by a rosette, some gilding loss, chips and repairs to the marble top, 85cm high, 118cm wide, 52cm deep
