Ioannais A Vourakis founded his jewellery atelier in 1926 at 8 Voukourestiou Street, 105 64 Athens in 1926 where it is still located. The company is now administered by his grandson, Antonis D Vourakis, who continues to produce jewellery in the same tradition as his grandfather.
