A Japanese lacquer and ivory screen, late Meiji Period (1868-1912)
set with a rectangular panel inlaid and carved with a hanging basked filled with chrysanthemums, blossom and butterflies, the reverse painted with Mount Fuji, enclosed by a red and black rectangular frame with carved flanges, on bracket feet, restorations, some ivory and lacquer lacking, 85cm high, 70cm wide
