A Russian silver-mounted glass basket, Kiev, late 19th century
square with rounded corners, the hinged handle moulded with flowerheads and foliage, the rim with rondels of rose-heads divided by foliate motifs, the glass cut with hexagonal panels of printies and diamond cuts, with star-cut base, 21,5cm square, 9cm high
