A South-eastern Cape 'De Rust' pine and inlaid chest, circa 1880 the rectangular hinged top, front and sides inlaid with a star motif enclosed by a chequerboard border, the interior with traces of wallpaper, on tapered block feet, 56cm high, 92,5cm wide, 54,5cm deep
