the ovoid body finely painted with two maidens, one kneeling before a two-handled vessel, the other holding a fan, before a tree in a garden, the reverse with black enamelled inscription and red seal marks, the elongated neck enamelled with ruyi-heads and trailing tassels, the foot with Greek-key border, iron-red four-character seal mark, 22,5cm high; and a Chinese enamelled vase, Republic period, 1868-1912, the ovoid body finely painted with a scholar teaching calligraphy before a window overlooking a balustraded garden, the reverse with script and iron-red seal marks, the elongated neck enamelled with a band of ruyi-heads and tassels, the shoulders with diaper bands, iron-red four-character seal mark,minor rim chip, 20,3cm high
