A Russian silver and cut-glass claret jug, with maker's marks in Cyrillic, 1908-1917

the ovoid body cut with diamonds, circles, printies and linework, the silver collar with stiff-leaf moulding, the hinged domed cover with beaded border and surmounted by a pine cone finial, shell thumbpiece, the side applied with a restrained loop handle engraved 17/IV,1916, star-cut base, silver-gilt interior, minor chips, 24,5cm high
