A rosewood and brass-inlaid travelling writing box, 19th century
the hinged rectangular brass-bound top enclosing a gilt-tooled leather-lined writing surface, enclosing ink and pen compartments, the side fitted with a drawer and a pair of recessed carrying handles, minor restoration, 17cm high, 46cm wide, 25,5cm deep; on a later sapele stand, 28cm high, 47,2cm wide, 27cm deep
