the moulded rectangular top above a slide with a long drawer below, the kneehole with a cupboard flanked by six graduated drawers, raised on bracket feet, retailer's label Antique Furniture from Norman Adams Ltd, 8-10 Hans Road, London, SW3, minor restoration, 84cm high, 85cm wide, 52,3cm deep

Provenance

The Reverend John Collins, Vicar of Holy Trinity Church, Brompton, London, SW7 from 1980-1985. The Reverend Collins stayed on as part of the staff at Holy Trinity until 1989 when he retired to Oxfordshire. Norman Adams purchased the desk from him in 1984.
