Notes
What started as an experiment in craft with social impact has become a small thriving business with a solid community of local women artisans. Lead by a designer and founded with the support of the local magazine distributors who wanted to recycled their waste. We want to change the perception of recycled materials by focusing on developing new and innovative techniques using only waste paper. Based in eSwatini our women artisans make each product by hand, with basic tools and the sun's rays., using only water based paints, pigments and glues.
The signature home collection is called Khaya meaning home in siSwati. These designs pay homage to local culture craft is pushed into a new sphere for these artisans.
