Critics Ratings
‘85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot. Black fruit, very high tannins here, tough and smoky. Needs a bit more loveability!’ – Richard Hemming MW, JancisRobinson.com, 16/20 (Jun 2012)
‘Saturated, deep ruby-red. Ripe, sappy red- and blackcurrant aromas, with mineral, mint and lead pencil notes; like modern-style claret. Tightly wound and intense, with terrific, urgent layered fruit and sexy French oak. At once firm and smooth. Finishes with big, broad tannins and excellent persistence. Very suave, primary wine with a tightly coiled spring for extended aging.’ – Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, 91+/100 (Mar 2003)
