A 3 litre bottle of 2018 Cape Master Winemakers Red Blend
A unique and limited wine blend, made by the only South African winemakers who are both Cape Wine Masters and past members of the Cape Winemakers Guild.
Concentrating the strengths of Jeff Grier (Villiera), Boela Gerber (previously at Groot Constantia) and Carel Nel (Boplaas), just ten 3 litre bottles of this 2018 red blend have been made.
This wine comprises:
• 40% Cabernet Sauvignon (from Boela Gerber)
• 40% Cabernet Franc and 5% Merlot (from Jeff Grier)
• 15% Touriga Nacional (from Carel Nel)
The inclusion of Touriga Nacional in the traditional Bordeaux blend reflects a modern climate-related trend, where the variety is emerging as a mainstay of champion wines.
This wine is packed in a wooden box.
