Georg Jensen sterling silver link bracelet, 'No 197' designed by Ibe Dalquist, 1960s
Notes
Ibe Dahlquist (1924-1996)ranks as one of Sweden's most prominent contemporary silversmiths. She studied at the Swedish School of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, after which, she started her own silver workshop. From 1965, Dahlquist became an employee of George Jensen, and it was here she created more austere modernist jewellery with rhythmic patterns and repeated elements present in her designs.
