Notes

This set is a replica of the set of twelve spoons made by Christopher Wace, presented to Sir Robert Tichborne in 1656 and destined to carry his family name. Comprising the Nine Worthies of medieval folklore - Three Jews: Joshua, King David and Judas Maccabeus - Three Pagans: Julius Caesar, Hector of Troy and Alexander the Great - Three Christians: King Arthur, Guy Warwick and Charlemagne, with Christ, St. Peter and Queen Elizabeth I, completing the only set of their kind known to exist. The Tichborne Celebrities re-created in this edition limited to 5000 sets world-wide in sterling silver.
