'Most examples of this wine have left me relatively unmoved but a recent bottle was decidedly better than most of them that I have tried because of the freshness and depth. I have had this wine perhaps 15 times with most of them displaying an understated nose of white flowers and a touch of botrytis introduces medium weight flavors that offer good distinction but not necessarily great concentration or depth. There is solid length and to be sure, this is a classy drink but ultimately, one is left wanting more. Perhaps the complexity that is presently missing will develop with a few more years of bottle age. 89/now+ Note: while clearly fresher in magnum, it is also displaying some distinct age and I would be inclined to be drinking it as well though without the same urgency.
