the superstructure with curved top above a pair of panelled doors enclosing a shelf with a pair of small drawers below, serpentine-shaped lower half inlaid with a panel depicting a figure in a horse-drawn chariot, above a fabric-lined writing surface and a frieze drawer below, on square-section cabriole legs headed by figural gilt-metal mounts, the front feet with metal fittings, distress, 152,2cm high, 85,6cm wide, 66,8cm deep
