rectangular with rounded corners, moulded with a pair of pen depressions and engraved with the inscription PRESENTED TO Mr William Bolt. by the Incumbent and Member's of St. Thomas's Church, STOCKPORT. as a small token of appreciation for his valuable services as Chruchwarden during the four years preceding Easter, 1852., surmounted by a covered water pot applied with a candle sconce and deatchable nozzle, flanked by a pair of silver-mounted glass ink pots with hinged covers, raised on four bracket feet, 23cm wide, 490g weighable silver
