A tôle and metal-mounted jardinière, 19th century
hexagonal, the sides painted with panels of summer flowers within gilt-lined borders against a black ground, the sides applied with leaf swing-handles, raised on three scroll-and-leaf feet, fitted with a black painted metal two-handled liner, some paint loss, dents, 60cm high; a pair of early Victorian papier-mâché face screen fans, mid-19th century, each inlaid with mother-of-pearl and painted with flowers against a black ground, with ring-turned handles, gilt highlights, repairs, crazing, chips, small areas of damage, 40cm high; and another example, painted with a peacock above a spray of flowers with mother-of-pearl inlay, some damage, some paint loss, cracking, 43,5cm high
