Published by Books of Rhodesia, Bulawayo, 1969, facsimile reprint of the 1865 edition with additional new publisher's introduction, illustrated title page, sepia portrait plate of the author and 10 colour plates, blue simulated leather binding with gilt titling on the upper board and blind stamped decorative detailing, in the original cardboard box with illustrated lid.
Accompanied by a portfolio of four prints produced by the 1820 foundation of Thomas Baines paintings of villages of the Eastern Cape in the 19th century.
