Chenin Blanc accounts for 80% of our white wine production at Radford Dale, and 50% of total. We place great emphasis on this stalwart white Cape varietal, across several individual expressions. Renaissance, our flagship, is captured from a vineyard formerly supplying fruit destined for the co-op. We first bottled this vineyard in 2009, getting to work on rehabilitating the site to full potential through employing better farming practices. Each year we learn a little more about each corner & crevice of this unique site. The name is a nod to the gains made in this vineyard, and in the category of Chenin Blanc, the modern-day Cape great.
