Critics Ratings
'Emphatic, unequivocal, individual; not for the faint-hearted! Sensational 2009 old gold in colour & character: a rich melange of leesy textures, round citrus fruit & glossy oak all brushed with botrytis, drawn together in a not-quite-dry tail. WO Stellenbosch.' - Platter's SA Wine Guide 2012, 4.5*
Ripe and lush, with delicious creamed pear, ginger, heather and fig kept honest by fresh acidity that's well-embedded on the toasty finish. This really stretches out in the glass too, with pear eau-de-vie and hazelnut oil notes lingering on the finish. Gorgeous. - Wine Spectator 92/100 (2011)
