A Dutch silver comfit/spice box, Jacob Kooiman Schoonhoven, 1887, .833 standard in the form of an armoire, the hinged cover engraved with a laurel wreath and oval cartouche enclosing a figure holding a pair of scales, the reverse engraved DIT KABINET HEB IK VANDOEN HET IS ALWEER EEN NIEUW FATZOEN,dents, 4,3cm high, 25g; and a silver novelty box, 19th century, possibly German, in the form of a chest, with hinged pierced filigree cover, sides and base, the sides applied with conforming loop handles, raised on four toupie feet, 4,4cm wide, 30g (2)
