set to the centre with a 55mm silvered dial with Arabic numerals, blued hands, gilt-metal bezel, the oval-shaped frame embossed in high relief with sprays of flowers flanking a shield-shaped cartouche engraved with initials, surmounted by a small bird, with pie-crust border, velvet backing, brass hinged easel back, minor dent, 18,5cm high; and a red velvet presentation case stamped with the retailer Howell & James Ltd, Goldsmiths & Jewellers to the Queen & Prince & Princess of Wales, 5,7 & 9 Regent Street, London, 26cm wide
