A Chinese famille-verte dish, Qing Dynasty, 19th century
the centre decorated with a seated maiden attended by a small boy with a ball, before a table set with fruit and a flower-filled vase, a rocky outcrop and prunus blossom to the right and to the foreground, enclosed by a turquoise diaper border interspersed with four foliate medallions, sienna-glazed rim, paper inventory labels to the reverse, decoration worn, 38cm diameter; and a Chinese hardwood stand, Qing Dynasty, 19th century, the apron carved with a bat with outspread wings beneath a gnarled branch, paper label,some loss, 28cm high
