About the SessionThe Self Portrait has a long standing tradition in art history as a popular subject matter by artists. According to art historian Marjory Reynolds’s “Everything you do is a portrait of yourself.” The self portraits in this session give insight into the historical roots of the modern day smartphone 'Selfie.'
