baluster, painted with a continuous scene of samurai on horseback approaching a seaside village, with boats and mountains in the distance, the shoulders with lappet and cell-diaper motif, enclosed by bands of cell-diaper borders, gilt rim, raised on a low foot, underglaze-red and gilt four-character mark, 25,3cm high
