the three-quarter matt plate engraved E. White, 20 Cockspur Street, LONDON, No 1531, bi-metallic compensation balance, steel spiral spring and engraved regulator, gold cuvette, white enamel dial with Roman numerals and outer minute chapter ring, subsidiary seconds dial, signed E. White, 20 Cockspur St. London, blued steel hands, the front cover with blue enamel Roman numerals enclosing an aperture glass, the back cover engraved with initials, hallmarked for Sheffield 1882, case maker's initials EN and the number 1531, diameter 45mm
