Notes
There are only two documented periods in the artist’s career when he had the opportunity to make etchings. He first worked in the medium at Michaelis at the end of 1961; he worked in it again between October 1978 and January 1979 at the Graphic Workshop at Atelier Nord in Oslo, Norway, which is where the present lot would have been pulled.
